New Alzheimer’s Clinical Research Trials

If you or someone in your family has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or has memory problems that may be a sign of Alzheimer’s disease, you may be eligible for one of two clinical research trials currently being conducted at Pacific Neuroscience Medical Group.

These clinical trials are evaluating the effectiveness of investigational medications that may improve memory and cognitive function or slow disease progression for people with Alzheimer’s disease.

You may be eligible for one of these Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials if you:

  • Are between 50 and 90 years old
  • Have a diagnosis of probable Alzheimer’s disease or memory problems that may be a sign of Alzheimer’s disease
  • Have been on a stable dose of medication for Alzheimer’s disease for at least three months OR are not yet taking any medications for Alzheimer’s disease
  • Have no history of cancer within the past five years
  • Are able to attend all office visits
  • Live with, or spend substantial periods of time with, a regular caregiver who is willing to attend all trial visits, oversee your compliance, and report on your status
If you participate in one of these Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials you will receive regular memory evaluations, trial-related medical care and trial medication at no cost. In addition, you will be compensated for your time and travel expenses.
